Privacy

This page describes what this site actually does, not what a template says a site should do.

No account, nothing to sign up for

PrivSec Lab has no accounts, no registration and no newsletter. You can read every page without giving anything, and there is no user database here to leak.

Analytics only if you say yes

Google Analytics (G-EYZ7N8M6DQ) is loaded only after you accept it in the banner. Declining, or simply ignoring the banner, means the script is never fetched — it is not loaded-then-disabled.

Your choice is stored in your browser under the key av-consent. It stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links. If you follow one and subscribe, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Following such a link takes you to the partner's site, which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. These links never change which tool an article recommends.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by our hosting provider, which keeps technical logs — IP address, timestamp, requested page — for security and troubleshooting. That is standard for any web server, and we do not use those logs to profile readers.

What we hold about you

Nothing, unless you email us. There is no profile to export and nothing to delete on our side. If you have written to us and want that message removed, ask and it will be.
